  • We are now looking for a passionate and dedicated Recovery Manager to join our team at IKEA Vantaa store!

    You are a dynamic leader focused on driving extraordinary growth through ensuring product quality and safety. You are skilled in optimizing processes to minimize unnecessary costs and enhance customer quality perception. You have a collaborative approach and a capability to work across functions, committed to preventing cost inefficiencies and improving customer experiences. You are passionate about giving products a second chance while balancing financial results, quality, safety, and sustainability impacts.


    You will bring to the role:

    Ability to contribute to the success of the IKEA business through efficient and effective operations with focus on preventing costs and maximizing profit on products that cannot be sold through our normal pipeline
    Ability to deliver sustainable, extraordinary growth by creating a new, unique, inspiring and convenient meetings with our customers
    Skills to establish the pre-requisites for the team to deliver customers a great commercial shopping experience in As-Is, as well as efficient circular recovery
    Strong leadership skills to coach and develop the Product Quality & Recovery team, prioritizing customer focus.
    Ability to collaborate across functions to enhance product quality, safety, and recovery processes.
    Proactive approach in improving customer product experiences and managing product safety, compliance, and quality deviations.
    Expertise in establishing efficient circular recovery operations to minimize environmental and financial impacts.
    Skills in setting and executing departmental goals and action plans, with a focus on continuous improvement.
    Ability to optimize common working methods, processes, and tools for product quality, safety, and recovery.
    Experience in team development and succession planning to ensure long-term success.


    Your previous experience and proven skills:

    ✔ Extensive experience in understanding customer behaviour in an omnichannel retail environment.
    ✔ Proven track record in managing store product quality, safety, and recovery processes.
    ✔ Experience in merchandising techniques to create commercially attractive offers both instore and online.
    ✔ Familiarity with the IKEA product range and unit functions contributing to quality and recovery processes.
    ✔ Strong knowledge of IT systems and tools used in daily work duties.
    ✔ Understanding of waste management and sustainability principles.
    ✔ Proactive and analytical with a focus on root cause identification and process improvement.
    ✔ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
    ✔ Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure with operational and logical thinking.
    ✔ Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to lead business through people.
    ✔ Motivated to give IKEA products a second chance using smart solutions.
    ✔ Ambassador for IKEA values, including cost-consciousness, simplicity, and caring for people and the planet.
    ✔ Passionate about diversity and inclusion, treating co-workers and customers with respect.
    ✔ Flexible and ready to embrace change as an early adopter and change-driver within the store.
    ✔ Good knowledge of Finnish and English
