KNOWLEDGE Comprehensive understanding of the IKEA concept, its Brand identity, Culture & Values, and strategic directions • Comprehensive knowledge of IKEA business, its market, industry, and customer needs; knowledge of Ingka Group's core business operations and key interactions between businesses/functions • Broad understanding of Ingka’s financial and operational processes (the interdependencies and how to manage them) • Good understanding of measuring, processing and communicating financial information in compliance with internal and external regulations and ensuring value for money in reaching business objectives and profitable growth • Good understanding of Ingka’s accounting and financial reporting rules, standards and manuals along with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Good understanding of applying organizational policies and procedures to assess, mitigate, ensure appropriate internal controls and communicate risks to the organization • Good understanding of data science, analytics, data visualization tools, and new technologies to secure a predictive and value-adding finance and accounting function • Good understanding of procedures and tools for data management • Good knowledge of how to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders in Ingka • Basic knowledge of project management processes, methods and tools including how to integrate them in everyday work • Good understanding of tax accounting, statutory and regulatory reporting as well as knowledge of how to provide support in an auditing process

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execute work to provide accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Ingka Group frameworks, applicable GAAP and relevant local regulations. • Execute internal and external audit tasks to meet relevant compliance and legislative requirements. • Collaborate with country and shared service Co-workers to review quality issues, organising remedial action. • Maintain effective internal control by reviewing and analysing relevant activities.
