Business Navigation and Operations Manager, IKEA Delft, full-time

Would you like to be the Business Navigation and Operations manager for the IKEA Delft market, one of the top turnover and volume markets in the world? 

IKEA Delft is transforming to be the best omnichannel retailer in its market. This will be the main assignment for the next few years.

We have strong ambitions to grow our PMA through store, services, online and new customer meeting points and are looking for a leader to be responsible for market P&L and operations.

What you will be responsible for: 

• Actively contribute to the development of the IKEA market business plan and ensuring it is aligned with IKEA global directions, the country’s priorities and local potential.
• Deliver the agreed market goals by supporting and challenging your stakeholders.
• Have a full overview of the profit and loss (P&L) for the market and understanding how different actions impact the different lines in the P&L.
• Take responsibility for summarizing and communicating our financial goals, including the P&L, to ensure that they are agreed upon, distributed and clearly understood by everyone.
• Are responsible for safety and security: ensuring that the rules and guidelines for the IKEA Group Risk Manual and country legislation are implemented and monitored to ensure the safety of our co-workers, visitors and property.
• Are responsible for Recovery: ensuring the store is working properly with internal transactions to minimize losses and ensure increase of revenue.
• Are responsible for Facility and Maintenance: ensuring the store is in shape as new by proper property maintenance.
• Secure that our investments minimize environmental impact and that utilities, such as energy, gas, water, are consumed as efficiently as possible.

You will need some experience! 

The person we are looking for must have a solid IKEA retail background and proven track record of performance, leadership and be familiar with the way we do business and the way we act. What are some of the characteristics we are looking for in the Business Navigation and Operations manager? You can lead yourself in uncertainty, you are strong and self-confident, resilient, and adaptable, you work fast, and can work under pressure

You use your knowledge of the IKEA business, the local market and work together with the store management team, store teams, business navigation team and Inter IKEA partners to steer the market towards growth, optimal performance and sustained long-term profitability. And, of course, you share and live the IKEA Culture and Values!

Availability
At IKEA the customer is in focus. Our customers visit the store at various times, also in the evening, weekends, during national holidays and during school holidays. We expect that you will be present when the customers visits us. Of course, you have an impact on your schedule yourself as well.
