About the role 

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist with expertise in network and cloud security to join the Cybersecurity Protection team in the Information Security and Data Privacy (ISDP) function of Inter IKEA Group. In this role, you will collaborate with enterprise architecture, information security and platform engineering teams to design, guide, implement and assess the network security controls in cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments. This role combines technical advisory, implementation support and stakeholder co-ordination activities towards integrating secure network architectures in enterprise-scale cloud migration and zero trust access initiatives. 

More specifically in this role, you will: 

• Define requirements, design standards and security baselines for network security implementation in cloud and on-premise hosting environments based on enterprise architecture principles and reference architectures 

• Provide guidance and implementation support to platform and product teams in the adoption of edge and perimeter security controls, including WAF, SSE and DDoS protection, for protecting Internet-facing applications and services 

• Define and manage implementation of network segmentation, micro-segmentation and access control policies based on zero trust access principles to control access to applications and services 

• Review network architectures and solution designs for cloud and on-premise hosted solutions and provide tailored recommendations for migrating solutions to target network architecture  

• Collaborate with platform engineering teams to define and implement networking and security guardrails, using Infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines, as part of platform-level enforcement of secure-by-default cloud posture  

• Establish procedures for periodic reviews and validation of network security policy configurations and firewall rules in alignment with security architecture intent and security policies  

• Support security operations and incident response teams in defining playbooks for network-based containment and incident response actions and providing SME level support during incident response

As our ideal candidate, you are an experienced cybersecurity specialist with a mix of technical implementation and advisory consulting skills in network security controls and technologies. You have: 

• 5+ years’ experience in designing and implementing network security architectures in a hybrid, enterprise-scale environment comprising of on-premises central hosting, distributed sites and public cloud platforms 

• Experience in analysing application connectivity requirements and guiding application development and support teams in migrating to segmented network architectures  

• Proficiency in assessing and implementing edge and perimeter security services including firewalls, SSE, WAF, DDoS protection 

• Strong understanding of secure landing zone architectures and cloud policy frameworks for enforcing network and security compliance in Azure, AWS, GCP  

• Experience in developing self-serve cloud security capabilities for easier adoption of network security services by product developer teams 

• Excellent analytical and reporting skills with the ability to explain security risks and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders 

• Solid understanding of emerging cyber threat landscape and associated attacker tactics, techniques and procedures

This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and will be based in Malmö, Sweden or Delft, the Netherlands.
