Your Role at a Glance
As People & Culture Manager, you will be a member of the IKEA Delft Management Team. You will act as a strategic business partner while driving an inclusive, engaging, and development-focused work environment.
You will help our co-workers and leaders grow, strengthen our unique IKEA culture, and ensure that people and business objectives go hand in hand. In doing so, you will contribute every day to a workplace where people feel welcome, can be themselves, and are empowered to perform at their best.
What You Will Do
- Lead and drive the People & Culture agenda for IKEA Delft, ensuring successful execution
- Translate the global People & Culture strategy into local initiatives that support our ambitions and business results
- Partner with the Management Team on talent development, succession planning, and organizational development
- Coach, inspire, and develop the People & Culture team
- Build and maintain strong, constructive relationships with the Works Council and labor unions
- Foster a healthy, safe, and inclusive work environment where well-being, engagement, and sustainable employability are central
- Support leaders through change, growth, and the development of high-performing teams
- Connect people, culture, and performance to deliver sustainable business results
Who You Are
You are an experienced People & Culture leader who is passionate about developing people and organizations. You understand the dynamics of a fast-paced retail environment and know how to translate strategy into concrete actions with visible impact.
In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:
- Extensive experience in leadership, talent development, and change management
- A strong business partner who naturally connects people and business results
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and engage others through change
- Experience in stakeholder management, employee relations, and collaboration with Works Councils and labor unions
- Resilient, decisive, and comfortable in an environment that is constantly evolving
- Curious by nature, eager to learn, and committed to helping others grow and develop
- Fluent in both Dutch and English
