    About the area
    Inter IKEA Group is organized into three core businesses – Range, Supply, and Retail Concept – along with five enabling functions. Together, we contribute to IKEA's success and share responsibility for the franchise offer.
    The Enabling Functions lead key common activities and networks across Inter IKEA Group and address specific needs for our core businesses. These functions include Operations Management, Business Performance & Support, Communication, Sustainability, and People & Culture.

    As a ServiceNow Platform Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, governing, and scaling the ServiceNow platform architecture across Inter IKEA Group. This position is essential for ensuring a well-structured, resilient, and future-ready ServiceNow platform that supports our organization's growing and evolving digital capabilities.You will lead platform-wide architectural decisions, establish governance models, and ensure that platform capabilities align with business needs across all functions while remaining out-of-the-box. This presents a unique opportunity to shape the delivery of digital services at scale, making a real difference for thousands of co-workers and millions of customers.

    You are passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems and thrive in dynamic environments where collaboration, innovation, and impact are central to the mission. You enjoy driving architectural discussions, defining best practices, and aligning stakeholders across business and IT domains.
    In this role, you’ll lead the platform architecture vision and ensure the consistency, security, and scalability of solutions built on ServiceNow. You’ll collaborate closely with the Platform Manager, Product Owners, development teams, and key stakeholders across IKEA to support the platform's adoption and evolution.

    To succeed in this role, the following knowledge, skills, and experiences will be valuable:

    • In-depth experience designing and governing ServiceNow platforms in large-scale, complex environments
    • Demonstrable expertise in platform architecture across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, SecOps, IRM, CSM, Source to Pay, and custom apps modules
    • Proven ability to establish and enforce platform governance, guardrails, and best practices
    • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture frameworks, performance design, data modeling, and integration methods (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers)
    • Proficient in collaborating with senior stakeholders and aligning technology strategies with business goals
    • Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders
    • Excellent English language skills
    • Experience working for, or with, an IKEA company is a plus
    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), and certifications like CIS for ITSM, IRM, HR, S2P, etc., and Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred
    • A strategic mindset and structured approach to problem-solving and communication
