    • IKEA London City are looking to welcome an Interior Designer, in IKEA we call this an Interior Design Co-worker. Working in IKEA London City gives you the opportunity to experience a multi-site way of working, across IKEA Oxford Street and IKEA Hammersmith.

    We’re looking for a creative and hands-on Interior Design Co-worker to join our team across Oxford Street and Hammersmith on a secondment basis. If you have a degree in a relevant creative field, a passion for home furnishings, and experience with design tools like Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office, this could be the perfect role for you!


    WHAT WE OFFER

    • The Start Date of employment will be: 29th and 30th November.
    • Starting salary of £29,120 based on competence and experience .
    • 39 Hours working 5 days per week including some weekend working to meet business need.
    • Shift patterns range from 6:30am to 4:30pm.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • You have a degree in a relevant creative field.
    • A working knowledge in design software such as Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
    • You are excited about home furnishings, design and how people live, and have the ability to generate new ideas to inspire our customers.
    • You have a hands-on approach, feeling at ease working with various hand tools and comfortable working at heights.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • Use Interior Design competence to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity, inspire and surprise our visitors.
    • Work with our commercial calendar you will plan inspiring commercial displays for the store, the majority of your time will be spent implementing and bringing your plans to life on the shop floor.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure a seamless shopping experience.
    • Contribute to position the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
    • Stay updated on trends in home furnishing & retail experience.
    • You will work in our new multi-site way of working, fulfilling responsibilities across both IKEA Oxford Street and IKEA Hammersmith.
