    • IKEA Cardiff are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team.

    Induction date will be Sunday 14 and Sunday 21 December. If successful, it is important that you can attend on both of these dates in order to start work with us.

    WHAT WE OFFER

    • Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
    • 20-hour a week contracts. Availability to work 20 hours a week, which will include 3 in 4 weekends, and shifts across various times including closes/evenings.
    • These are permanent contracts where you will be working throughout the year.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • Prior food and customer service experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
    • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment, and a willingness to move and work across different areas - from the dishwash area, to the check-outs and in our customer restaurant.
    • Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
    • Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.

    Due to health and safety regulations, all applicants must be over the age of 18.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • You will take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant area, and work in our busy dish-room.
    • You will support your colleagues, lend a hand, and foster a positive work environment, contributing to a happy team.
    • You will be communicating directly with customers, ensuring they receive an efficient, friendly and warm dining experience.
