Job description
We are looking for someone who will contribute to developing and establishing Data Management capabilities in IKEA Supply. As part of the Data Management team in the Supply Data & Technology department, you will drive collaboration across Supply teams on data management, providing technical and functional leadership. Together with your peers across Inter IKEA, you will be defining and implementing policies, controls and programs to secure data quality, accessibility and re-usability. You will also drive continuous improvement, collaboration and knowledge sharing of best practices, methodologies, tools and materials across the Data Management community.
More specifically, in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Take ownership and drive the execution of Data Management (DM) related activities and initiatives in IKEA Supply
- Represent IKEA supply in DM related activities & participate in relevant DM projects or initiatives
- Be the single point of contact, support the adoption and prioritization for Data Management and Enablement capabilities in IKEA Supply such as: Data Modelling, Data Literacy, Data Governance, Business Glossary, Data Catalogue, Data Lineage, Data Quality
- Support the co-ordination and implementation of group wide DM priorities
- Secure relevant updates to common reporting and meeting information for your area of responsibility
- Support the development of Data Management essential components such as: steering documents, roadmap, learning solutions and communication content and specific deliverables for the data management capabilities
- Have responsibility for the reporting of DM KPIs/OKRs
- Lead and work closely together with peers across the totality of Inter IKEA and across IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer
- Build, lead and inspire the community on a given master data domain, bringing passion and expertise on data management practices, data modelling and supply chain business processes
- Embed the data management capabilities and practices in the ways of working in IKEA Supply, working proactively with product / applications teams and ultimately help to developing a data culture
- Active member of the Inter IKEA Data Management area of expertise, fostering a culture of support, collaboration, can do attitude and continuous improvement.
In this role you will report to our Data Management Manager at IKEA Supply and work closely with the teams for Supply Architecture, Supply Data & Analytics and Program teams (such as SAP S/4 HANA ERP program, regulatory or other transformation programs).

Qualification

To be successful in this role, we believe you are a strong contributor able to inspire and mobilize people towards clearly set objectives. We are looking for a visionary, pragmatic and adaptable specialist with strong willpower. You are curious and able to build relationships in order to establish strong trust between the information management community and its stakeholders. You are passionate about creating value from data and information management and you enjoy working close to business and used to identify and capture business opportunities and deliver results with high sense of urgency by building relationships and networks. You will lead the advancement and adoption of data management and secure that defined data and information principles are followed.
We expect you to have good knowledge of Data Modelling, Meta & Master Data management, Data Governance and Data Quality, IT in general and digital organizations, strategies and working methods and a solid experience and track record in information management, master data management or data domain management. Hands on experience with Data Modelling and/or Data Literacy is considered a plus.
You have had experience in managing data and information in Franchisor and/or global Application landscapes in supply chain environments. Ideally you also have had exposure in building and managing master data management communities, introducing the necessary solutions and balancing business needs with IT capabilities and developments. Embracing agile practices and ways of working in an entrepreneurial environment is to your advantage.
