We are now looking for a Country Purchaser for Finland!

We offer you an exciting position as purchaser within Procurement organization of Ingka, role is full time & fixed term (1.4.2025 - 30.6.2026).


To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• Experience of supplier management and supplier development
• Very good negotiation skills
• Proficient speaking and writing skills in English and Finnish
• Strong knowledge in sourcing and procurement practices and related processes
• Good knowledge of indirect procurement industry and Finnish market specific conditions
• Good knowledge of project management methods & processes
• Strong financial knowledge
• Good legal knowledge
• Good knowledge of cost drivers
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba Source to Pay Process is an advantage.

Besides this, we also see that you are comfortable navigating and leading in the unknow, and in an international business environment.
You have the capability to communicate clearly, influence decisions and secure the deployment of business cases. You are confident to work both individually and in a team.
A day in your life with us
Your responsibilities will be as follows:

✔ Build and maintain trustful relationships with business owners to align plans and drive performance and results
✔ Execute sourcing projects according to the Source-to-Pay process and SAP Ariba, ensuring a strategic and professional approach to sourcing, using excellent negotiation skills to optimize and drive out costs and consider the end user for effective call off options as well as optimal invoicing channel
✔ Responsible to drive supplier management and supplier performance securing compliance of IWAY and the Code of Conduct
✔ Continuously monitor the supplier market and give input to business owners on sourcing options, supplier market, market trends
✔ Deliver business priorities by collaboration with colleagues across departments as one cross-functional team
✔ Responsible for the implementation and communication of the procurement strategy/category plan/strategic direction within the markets and/or categories
✔ Ensure added value and relevant solutions to meet customers' needs.

Physical working location is at IKEA Service Office in Espoo.
