    Do you want to be a strategic partner for management, contribute to business success, and lead the People & Culture team?     As a person you have experience in P&C or leadership role with a strong ability to support and develop people. You are an excellent communicator, able to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. You are motivated by creating an engaging and inclusive work environment where the IKEA culture and values are a living reality.

    • You have experience in P&C or a leadership role, ideally 2–3 years or more.
    • You have a passion of people management processes, including talent development, succession planning, and labor law.
    • You are energetic, committed to people development, and a strong ambassador of IKEA’s values and culture.
    • Your communication skills are excellent, and you are able to inspire and influence others.
    • You work proactively and thrive both independently and in a team, taking initiative and responsibility for delivering results.
    • You have a good understanding of behavior of local customers (CZHUSK).
    • You believe in business through people and finding always new ways how to make things simpler.
    • You communicate confidently and clearly in English and Czech/Slovak language.

    What you'll be doing day to day

    • Lead and develop the People & Culture team to deliver an excellent co-worker experience.
    • Support leaders in building competencies and creating a strong leadership culture in an inclusive environment.
    • Secure an effective people planning process in collaboration with Business Navigation.
    • Drive succession planning and talent development across the unit.
    • Act as a strategic People & Culture business partner to the Unit Management and Service office team.
    • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and effective co-worker relations management.
    • Create an environment where co-workers feel proud of their work and inspired to achieve their best results.

    In this role you will be part of the unit management team and report to the Market Manager, Ostrava.
