We’re looking for a Team Leader to drive the daily operations of our Goods Replenishment team in Aarhus. We imagine that you are a hands-on leader who thrives in operations, but who also has the ability to take a step back, prioritize, delegate, and follow up on tasks. You are trustworthy and understand that your team is your greatest asset. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, and your strong leadership ensures that you maintain an overview. Your insight and curiosity about logistics processes enable you to identify opportunities and optimize the business.

To succeed in this role, we expect that you:
    • Have at least 1-2 years of leadership experience within logistics and warehousing, preferably including night shifts and shift work.
    • Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
    • Are flexible in your approach to work.
    • Have experience working with routines and creating structure in a busy environment – both for yourself and your team.
    • Hold a forklift license and have experience operating forklifts (reach truck and counterbalance truck) – this is an advantage.

    Your responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you are responsible for ensuring that the warehouse is well-stocked and that all products are correctly placed and ready for sale when the store opens. You are also responsible for motivating your co-workers and making sure they are always ready to deliver great work that complies with current safety regulations.

Your additional areas of responsibility include:
    • Participating in daily operations and leading through visible leadership.
    • Collaborating with the store’s sales departments to ensure an efficient and successful goods flow process.
    • Developing and optimizing your team and your work processes.
    • Ensuring that your co-workers use the correct work equipment in a responsible, safe, and efficient manner to reduce damage to goods and equipment.

    Our team within IKEA

We’re the team behind the scenes that make the IKEA products available to the many people. As a diverse mix of co-workers we use our supply process expertise to balance range and space capacity with forecasting and ordering to provide customers with high availability while minimizing costs. If you’ve wonder who’s responsible for finding effective and efficient ways of picking up the products for our customers, that’s us. We’re passionate about working together to improve the customer experience at IKEA!
