    As a Food Safety/ Administration Specialist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Secure compliance and food safety framework and standards, ways of working, and tools for the IKEA Food areas and selling solutions in the unit.
    • Being an active partner to the store commercial team by securing food safety compliance in all food activities and events.
    • Actively cooperating with all key stakeholders within the Food team to secure integration and a common approach.
    • Supporting stakeholders to ensure the implementation of local legal legislation on product specification, labelling, import (if applicable) and other related processes.
    • Securing clear internal communication on food safety and compliance. Responsible for the facilitation of knowledge transfer, training, information and sharing to, and between, the unit Food team.
    • Contribute to the implementation of the IKEA global and national strategies (affordability, accessibility, people & planet).
    • Ongoing management and maintenance of our food point of sale systems in all areas of our unit, including all digital tools
    • Administration tasks, auditing & continued physical and systematic stock take related to the IKEA Food business.

    To be considered for this role experience in the following is essential:
    • Experience in implementation and continued adherence to food safety regulations, ensuring compliance in global standards and national legislation and regulations.
    •Extentensive experience with administration, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry.
    • Excellent aptitude with technology, able to understand and maintain Food technology assets, ensuring they are updated and ready for Customer usage.

    What you need to know

    • This role is permanent full time.
    • The work location for this role is IKEA Sylvia Park.
    • As our unit operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the flexibility to work weekends.
    • Internal role title is Unit Food Safety Specialist.
    • After initial review If you are successful to the next step, you will be notified via email and be invited to complete a video Interview.
    • Car parking will not be provided and therefore IKEA encourages all Co-workers to utilise public transport wherever possible.
