Additional information: • This role is Permanent, Part-time 60-79 hrs/fortnight • The work location for this role is our Sylvia Park store. • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts based on trading hours. You also must have the availability to work weekends. 1 full weekend in 4 will be rostered off. • The internal job title for this role is Fulfilment Operations Co-worker

About this work area
As a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker your responsibilities will include: • Safely and efficiently storing goods, replenishing sales locations, picking, packing, checking, and preparing customer orders for delivery or collection within set KPIs. • Using IKEA systems to efficiently manage customer workflow. • Supporting all customer enquiries with a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable approach as you pick orders in a retail store environment, and hand out click and collect orders to customers. • Actively contributing to the highest possible stock availability by ensuring accurate replenishment, goods storage, picking, checking, hand out, & return flow, and taking responsibility to follow up discrepancies to ensure our customers always have the right information. • Ensuring IKEA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), rules, and guidelines are followed throughout the process to ensure the safety of both customers and co-workers. • Frequent lifting and use of manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks, while working safely alongside forklift operations. • Supporting the wider fulfilment operations team with tasks where required with tasks like goods replenishment.
As a Fulfilment Operations Co-worker you are or have: • Strong interest in supply chain and efficient & safe fulfilment operations. • A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments to secure the best possible outcome for the customers. • Collaborative, as well as a high level of autonomy so you can work effectively independently. • An energetic approach as you will be on your feet all day, frequently lifting, and using manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks. • Strong customer focus and a friendly, service-based approach ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do. • Ability to prioritise tasks and communicate well in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to learn and use internal IT systems to manage workflow. • A priority on safe work practices and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling, including frequent lifting of flat packed furniture to replenish warehouse locations and fulfil customer orders.
