IKEA Leeds are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team. We have contracts of 16 and 30 hours a week, with opportunities in our Customer Restaurant and Kitchen Production areas.

• Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
• Availability to work 3 in 4 weekends a month, and 2 late-night shifts during the week up until 22:00pm.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Prior food experience is a plus but not required. However, experience in a customer service environment is essential to host our customers in the best way.
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and you will have strong team working skills and enjoy working as part of our team.
• Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
• Skilled and confident at working with digital tools.
• Enjoy working with our regular IKEA Family customers, which may include putting on events in our Customer Restaurant.

Due to Health & Safety Regulations, all applicants must be over the age of 18.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
In both roles, you will ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.

FOOD PRODUCTION OPERATIVE
• You will also be serving meals and giving great customer service sharing your knowledge of the range we offer.
• You will be preparing and making meals using our ovens and kitchen equipment to offer a taste of Sweden to our customers and co-workers.
• You will be preparing for the next day's trade, as well as managing food waste and working in a sustainable and cost-conscious way.
• You will follow a cleaning schedule and make sure the cleanliness of the kitchen is to a high standard.

CUSTOMER RESTAURANT
• You will take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant area, and work in our busy dish-room.
• You will support your colleagues, lend a hand, and foster a positive work environment, contributing to a happy team.
• You will be communicating directly with customers, ensuring they receive an efficient, friendly and warm dining experience.
