  • Who you are

You are passionate about people and business - and you know how strongly the two depend on each other. You believe that when co-workers feel valued, inspired, and supported, they can create a real impact for our customers and for our business. You bring a solid understanding of how an effective People & Culture function contributes to long-term business results, and you feel energized by creating great co-worker experience across multiple units.

    Strategy and business acumen
    • You combine strong business acumen with confidence in strategy development, easily connecting people’s topics to commercial needs and turning insights into clear long-term People plans. At the same time, you thrive in the operational reality, securing strong work delivery, consistent process delivery and a hands-on approach when needed.

    Change leadership and continuous improvement
    • You enjoy navigating change and transformation, moving comfortably between strategic discussions, tactical planning and hands-on support. You are motivated by continuous process improvement, always looking for ways to simplify, standardize and optimize how we work. You use digital literacy to navigate tools, systems and data in an efficient and insight-driven way, and you role-model the IKEA Culture & Values in everything you do.

People & Culture guidance and stakeholder relations
    • When challenges arise, you take the lead with confidence in P&C issue resolution and policy management, always securing that our co-workers feel supported and IKEA remains a fair and caring employer. You build trustful stakeholder relations, communicate with clarity and empathy and influence others through value-based leadership.

People solutions, talent and leadership growth
    • You are skilled in solution design and development, creating people initiatives that meet both co-worker needs and business ambitions. You are experienced in talent sourcing and acquisition, understanding how to attract, recruit and develop people who share our IKEA values. You bring a track record of enabling leadership growth, building succession pipelines and creating conditions where people can perform, develop and stay.

For this role, we believe you have a university degree and at least 5 years of managerial experience within People & Culture. Experience in multi-unit or matrix environments is considered a strong advantage.

What you'll be doing day to day

    • Lead all People aspects related to business transformation in the units, acting as an ambassador for standardization, new ways of working, and change across the organization
    • Be the guardian of the IKEA Culture & Values in the units, acting as the voice of co-workers, ensuring that IKEA is a caring employer, and safeguarding the overall co-worker experience
    • Secure compliance with local labor market regulations, internal policies, and co-worker relations principles, ensuring a safe, fair, and supportive working environment
    • Identify, build and strengthen IKEA’s local employer offer in the market through relevant initiatives that reflect co-worker needs and enhance our ability to attract and retain talent
