We are looking for a skilled and business-minded purchaser to join our Procurement organization. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic sourcing and supplier development in a dynamic international environment.
We are happy to offer you the possibility to work part–time in this position (20 hours per week) until the end of August 2027 and extend to full time from September 2027. However, if you would be interested in working full time right from the beginning, please feel free to apply too.
To succeed in this role, we believe you have: - Experience in supplier management and supplier development - Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and either Czech or Slovak - Solid knowledge of sourcing and procurement practices, processes, and tools - Understanding of the indirect procurement industry and CZ/HU/SK market conditions - Experience working with project management methods and processes - Strong financial and commercial understanding - Good legal knowledge related to procurement and contracts - Knowledge of cost drivers and value creation opportunities - A strong connection to IKEA culture, values, and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people - Experience with SAP Ariba Source-to-Pay processes is considered an advantage

In this role, you will: - Build and maintain trusted relationships with business owners to align sourcing plans, drive performance, and deliver results - Execute sourcing projects through the Source-to-Pay process using SAP Ariba, ensuring a strategic and professional procurement approach - Lead negotiations to optimize costs, improve supplier performance, and create efficient solutions for end users and invoicing flows - Drive supplier management and performance while ensuring compliance with IWAY and the IKEA Code of Conduct - Continuously monitor supplier markets and provide insights on sourcing opportunities, market developments, and trends - Collaborate closely with colleagues across functions and markets as one integrated team - Implement and communicate procurement strategies, category plans, and strategic priorities within assigned markets and categories - Deliver value-adding and sustainable procurement solutions that meet business and customer needs
