  • Who you are

    '- Strong knowledge of project management, with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end
    - Knowledge of change management and leading in the unknown, including the ability to support teams through significant operational transformation.-
    - Broad business understanding. Logistics experience is essential last-mile delivery or transport operations is a strong advantage
    - Strong knowledge of the IKEA value chain and IKEA Retail operations and development, especially store logistics and distribution logistics.
    - Strong understanding of consumer, customer and co-worker needs, demands and expectations, and how delivery promises impact the overall customer experience.
    - Strong knowledge of how to optimize and continuously develop operational performance in last mile logistics
    - Strong knowledge of delivery management platforms and last-mile tools (e.g. route optimization, real-time tracking, driver apps, dashboards) and how to leverage them to improve efficiency, reliability and customer experience.
    - Understanding of financial cost & growth drivers and their effect on profitability based on an omnichannel perspective, with the ability to balance cost optimization, transport partner performance and service levels.
    - Strong understanding of insights & analytics to achieve organizational goals and objectives, using real order data, route simulations and demand patterns to inform decisions and steer transport providers.
    - Ability to influence and inspire multiple stakeholders towards new delivery configurations and ways of working across stores, central flow and external service providers
    - Strong ability to lead indirectly through people.

    Your responsibilities

    Leading projects on behalf of Fulfilment & Core Services, specifically focused on last-mile delivery transformation. Securing project scope and alignment, time, risk, communication, people consequences, reporting, change management and external relationships with service providers, always to the lowest cost and highest quality.
    Lead projects, end-to-end, in the country. Secure project scope and alignment, legal requirements, time, sequencing, quality, low cost, risk, communication, reporting and project evaluation. Capture and share learnings in the country, with matrix and group functions.
    Enable successful change management. Secure communication, people consequences and alignment points between the projects and all internal partners, as well as all external partners and stakeholders, to secure alignment and successful delivery of the projects in time.
    Lead resources connected to the project. Secure all dimensions of the project to have a successful project delivery into the business.
    Secure project fundamentals. Responsible for project methodology, tools, steering, assignments and onboarding of needed project resources. Responsible for project budget, plan, time schedule and preparing material for governance forums.
    Secure project alignment with global and country strategies and business plans. Secure dependencies and interfaces in the projects, between projects, and with the line organization.
    Ensuring organizational readiness is embedded into project plans to secure intended customer benefits, business growth and operational efficiencies.
    Driving data-based last-mile route optimization by using real order and route data, running simulations, and turning the results into clear actions for operations, to deliver the desired customer experience at optimal cost.
