    Please note that this is a non-paid academic internship for students looking to complete the Program requirements.
    The internship will commence in January or February with a minimum of 12 weeks.

    Are you triggered by consumer insights and strategies? Do you like to follow-up on trends and see what different brands in the market do? You are not afraid of abbreviations as STEEP, PEST or SWOT?

    Join the Consumer and Customer Insights (CCI) Team of IKEA. Understand the macro/micro dynamics impacting the business. Get an understanding of a dynamic retail market, the fast changing consumer and support the strategy for IKEA Belgium.

    What we are looking for:

    Enjoy working with numbers and translating facts into insights (interpretation rather than data modelling)

    Positive and open mindset to learn and grow.

    Who loves making inspirational Powerpoints (basic skills)

    Who excels in Excel (basic skills)

    Master student

    Who can bare a bad joke from time to time

    Master English ( Mother language Dutch or French)

    A day in your life with us

    Compile specific knowledge decks with insights for internal stakeholders (for example Marketing, Sales, Services,…) . Provide them with insights and scope to understand how the future consumers want to shop.

    Support the CCI-team with the preparation of the strategy through steep analysis, trend monitoring, consumer insights,…

    Competitor monitoring

    Data files compilations (to transfer the insights and data to our stakeholders)

    Support in ad hoc research or ad hoc demands

    We can work with project-based assignments, where you can take a more active role and be lead (might be related to your thesis) .

    Cross-service unit . You can work with different stakeholders within IKEA. Understand how different departments base their strategies on.

    Get hands on with quantitative and qualitative research. IKEA has a broad scope of partners regarding quantitative and qualitative studies, as well as international insights from IKEA global. The best base to get an understanding of market intelligence and consumer insights.
