  • Who you are

    As a Leadership, Learning & Competence Specialist, you drive the implementation of learning and talent development initiatives as well as succession planning in close collaboration with your colleagues in our units and the central P&C functions.

    • You are close to the business and have an excellent understanding how to combine business and people needs
    • You have in-depth knowledge of learning delivery methods and experience implementing learning materials to enable co-worker’s competence development.
    • You are experienced in in creating, capturing, sharing and utilizing knowledge within a company and between its co-workers.
    • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to facilitate trainings and workshops in an inspiring and focused way.
    • You understand how to implement plans, according to set budgets and timelines and achieve results.
    • You are a proactive personality who enjoys working in a vibrant and dynamic, multi-dimensional environment.
    • You bring knowledge of how to implement long term
    plans, according to set budgets and goals
    • You have a good understanding of anticipating, identifying and
    developing potential successors for key positions in IKEA
    • You are available to travel within Switzerland.
    • You speak English fluently, German, French or Italian are a plus.

    Your responsibilities

    • Driving the implementation of global tools and learning offers as well as executing the Swiss training calendar for both leadership and competence development your designated stores.
    • Delivering the learning content, either as facilitator or by securing available and competent facilitators.
    • Networking with relevant stakeholders (e.g. line managers and co-workers) to identify, understand and support them with their specific learning needs.
    • Following up on the deliverables and the outcomes of the learning activities.
    • Proactively implementing and localizing global succession strategies, strengthening the talent pipeline and addressing future needs.
    • Working with stakeholders, analyzing national succession data, and developing competencies to ensure effective talent identification and development.
