Who you are• Provide input to the annual compliance plan with local knowledge and information pertaining to third party Reviews to provide appropriate coverage.
• Facilitate and perform third party reviews and initial assessments of identified vendors/suppliers according the annual compliance plan to verify compliance with Ingka standards, including IWAY. Responsible for reporting of the results to key stakeholders and management so appropriate action can be taken.
• Support the compliance review process for third party risk and control frameworks, including reporting of the results to key stakeholders and management to ensure compliance.
• Conduct Risk-based follow-up on gaps/weaknesses identified within the reviews, including providing expertise on improvement opportunities to maximize positive impacts on our business along with the environment and society at large.
• Provide support and guidance to group functions and countries on successful adherence to internal third-party risk and control frameworks to allow for better understanding of the process within Ingka.
• Support and implement standardized and automated ways of working with the aim to create efficiency and alignment throughout Ingka.
• Lead and inspire a risk and compliance performance mind-set, raise risk awareness, and promote a risk culture, thereby supporting growth and maximization of business value.
• Regular business trips to suppliers.
Your responsibilities
• Good understanding of IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, combined with a strong sense of integrity and high ethical standards.
• Thorough understanding of third party legislative and regulatory systems, in specific: labor laws.
• Understanding of Ingka’s third party risk and control frameworks, including IWAY standard.
• Comprehensive knowledge of third-party compliance review processes and ability to evaluate effectively.
• Formal qualifications and/or proven knowledge in the field of compliance or similar fields.
• Supply chain/procurement management experience would be a plus.
• Ability to make well balanced decisions taking different business, people and ethical perspectives into consideration.
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English, knowledge in Italian/French would be a plus.
