About the job
We are looking for an energetic Search & Social Media enthusiast who is tech-savvy, always on-trend, passionate about home furnishing and the IKEA brand. Someone with creative ideas on how to gain brand traction through creating and delivering innovative content with the IKEA personality and tone of voice, to support us in securing our overall vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people.
Your assignment
Your main task will be to closely work with and support the Search & Social Media Manager in executing content based on IKEA Singapore’s communication needs.
Support the ideation, sourcing, design adaptation, production and implementation of engaging content (stills, videos, graphics) across our social channels
Support in all areas of SEM - including the handling of Google Business Listings, copywriting for search results and setting up Search Campaigns together with the Media Agency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Web, Food, Corporate Communications) to gather data, product lists, information and ensure campaign readiness and content accuracy for use on Search & Social Channels
Liaise with respective agencies & vendors on content development, influencer engagement, production, publishing related matters as well overlooking their deliverables, deadlines and finance/administrative matters.
Support in “social media listening” on owned channels; together with CCC team.
Update internal booklets, post mortem reports and tracking of performances.
Handle creation of purchase orders, oversee agency billings and other adhoc tasks as needed.
Qualification
Your profile
You have at least 3-4 years of experience managing, producing & publishing content on social channels.
Strong understanding of social media algorithms and platforms including its publishing & advertising extensions.
Proficient in relevant software for content creation, including simple video and animation (Eg. Photoshop, In-Design, Adobe Premier, Capcut)
Previous copy writing and journalistic experience with an ability to develop engaging content an advantage.
Knowledge of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and optimisation and understanding technicalities and insights that drive traffic generation.
High energy, proactive, highly responsible, able to work in fast paced environment, multi-task and manage deliverables & timelines well.
Analytical skills to track, measure, and improve performance based on data and learnings.
Experience working with creative advertising/media agencies
Have a passion for home furnishing and the IKEA brand, share the IKEA values, tone of voice and vision and develop deep understanding of customer needs, living situations, and pain points to craft impactful content
