Job description
The Intelligence Automation Competence Centre has the assignment to create value by providing automation solutions and simplify the life of our IKEA co-worker, working hand in hand with the business and product teams.
This role includes essential duties and responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects with significant scope and impact, specifically focusing on Power Platform Apps and pages development.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX leads, scrum teams, architects, and business analysts to establish release goals, understanding technical tasks, and setting delivery timelines for Power Platform projects.
- Act as the primary liaison between business units and technology teams, ensuring seamless communication and comprehensive understanding of project requirements within the Power Platform domain.
- Provide strong technical leadership to cross-functional teams, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to tackle complex technical challenges in Power Platform Apps and pages development.
- Manage escalations effectively, ensuring timely and proper resolutions.
- Oversee project scope using Agile methodologies to ensure Power Platform projects meet timelines and established goals.
- Coordinate and lead teams, both onshore and offshore, facilitating efficient collaboration to guarantee timely delivery of Power Platform projects.

We’re doing some amazing things in IKEA Supply; therefore, we need some amazing people – this position is not an exception.
To be successful in this role, we believe you MUST have:
- 15+ years of overall experience in the industry.
- At least 12 years of experience leading teams, specifically those working with onshore and offshore setups.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with automation technologies.
- Expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Proven experience in leading projects related to automation, application developments, and technical teams.
- In-depth understanding of UI/UX and user interface architecture.
- Demonstrated experience working with and leading platform integrations.
- Practical experience in Bootstrap and Figma; SAP experience is considered a plus.
- Experience working with diversified team setups.
- Experience leading development teams using modern development techniques such as Agile and DevOps.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to deliver technical demonstrations.
You should also be able to make advanced technical solutions understood and embraced by both technical and non-technical co-workers.
