    Supply Chain Development (SCD) is one of the business units at IKEA Supply and we are on an exciting journey! By gathering the end-to-end supply chain development and innovation agenda into one organization, embedding management and development of processes and digital solutions into the business, we will meet the future with the right competences and business capabilities. By this we will also create the preconditions to a world class supply chain that enable IKEA to efficiently respond to the ever-changing customer needs. We are now looking for Solution Architect within area of Supply Chain Planning Development within SCD.

     

    As the Solution Architect, you will mainly work with following:

     

    • Gathering business requirements, analyzing complex requirements and providing optimal solutions, performing fit-gap analysis and proof of concepts.
    • Designing scalable and efficient solutions aligned with business needs, ensuring solutions meet business requirement/value, security standards and compliance regulations.
    • Govern that the design of the solutions conforms to the overall solution architecture and in line with the enterprise architecture principles, directions and best practices.
    • Ensure architecture covers customer experience and environmental factors, while identifying opportunities for improvement.
    • Create roadmaps balancing foundational changes with ongoing business value, considering future uncertainties.
    • Lead architecture activities, providing guidance for improvements, design reviews, and lifecycle management.
    • Cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), software architecture, cyber security, CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture.
    • SQL/No SQL Databases, programming language constructs and data integration concepts and patterns.

    To be successful in the position as Solution Architect we believe that you have:

    • Collaborate with teams and partners to turn business needs into practical solution designs and implementation roadmaps, driven by a passion for business, technology, and people.
    • Ensure solutions consider all key aspects, resolving conflicting priorities and balancing long-term changes with continuous value delivery, enhancing business value and co-worker experience.
    • Share and explain solution designs and roadmaps, in a clear and inspiring way, to ensure alignment across the organization, leveraging strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
    • Ensure solutions follow company standards and IT strategies, suggesting changes when necessary, with a growth mindset and awareness of Agile methodologies.
    • Use solution designs and roadmaps to define scope, guide detailed designs, and support implementation, backed by extensive knowledge of digital technologies, industry standards, and development practices.
    • Lead architecture work, spot opportunities early, and drive transformation with a strong understanding of IKEA's business model, strategies and processes.
    • Priority will be given to those who have strong experience working with IKEA Supply Chain IT landscape; in combination with strong development background, prior experience working on standard S&OP Products/Platforms.
