    • We’re looking for people to prepare, and hand over customer orders. Be a part of our team and create a memorable customer experience at IKEA!


    WHAT WE OFFER

    • Start Date of employment will be: 5th September 2025
    • Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
    • 12 hours per week, working weekend only, this role will work every Saturday & Sunday. Hours of operation for this department are 8am-9:30pm as a weekend only co-worker you will work 6 hour shifts within these times.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • You are comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support with the checking and handing out of stock or to answer customer questions.
    • You proactively look for tasks to be done and use your initiative to complete them in an efficient and effective manner.
    • You have an adaptable mindset allowing you to switch between different tasks/areas and work within tight timeframes.
    • You work with guidance from your manager to achieve set goals in agreed timeframes using standard ways of working.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • You ensure products are available to customers by ensuring tasks in your area are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
    • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the IKEA Health, Safety & Security Rules & Regulations in your area.
    • You work to ensure the efficiency of the fulfilment operation by working in simple, cost-conscious ways, developing, and sharing good examples of ways of working.
    • You will be required to manually handle all of our products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes.
    • You will handle orders to both customers and our delivery team including handing goods out and processing uncollected orders.
    • You will check the accuracy of picked orders and pack the orders ready to be handed over to the IKEA delivery team.
