    As Unit People Planning Specialist for the unit IKEA Aubonne you will be supporting the unit and the country in the implementation of the new people planning process with the aim on efficient and sustainable ways of working.

    •Good ability to communicate, inspire people, and lead changes within an organization. Additionally, knowledge of scheduling systems is a plus.

    •You know about rights and obligations of employees and have knowledge of scheduling and time keeping systems.

    •You are passionate about people and believe strongly in individuals' potential.

    •You have strong analytics and digital skills.

    •You have a good knowledge of how to implement plans, according to set budgets and goals.

    •You are motivated by reaching goals and delivering results. You excecute tasks promptly.

    •You have a very good knowledge of the Swiss labour market.

    .You are a trustworthy person and you treat personal data respecting the laws and regulations

    •You are fluent in French and English both written and verbal

    Your responsibilities

    •Implement people planning strategy at unit level, following principles/guidelines as localized by the Country Human Resources (People & Culture) team.
    • Ensuring adherence to IKEA employment standards, legal, and union requirements related to People Planning in the unit.
    • Contribute to the unit’s complete people planning process from forecasting to the execution of the schedule by posting draft schedules timely, ensuring scheduled hours include planned absences and liaising on the development of final schedules with department managers in order to respond to coworker, customer and business needs.
    • Identify possible improvements in the unit people planning process and escalate any potential deviation to the Unit P&C manager when the scheduled or actual hours exceed the agreed financial framework.
    • Ensure that the unit’s people planning process supports developing our talents and enable them to deliver an excellent and personal customer meeting.
    • Collaborate with managers and Unit P&C generalist to ensure vacancies are filled with the right contract type, to secure the right preconditions for the co-worker to create a great customer meeting.
    • Ensure unit co-worker awareness and knowledge of the people planning process and their role in it through education, training and support.
    •Identify possible improvements in the people planning process and tools and escalate any potential deviation to the people planning manager.
