A day in your life with us
• checking the calendar for the coming day, checking the e-mail and checklists with the tasks for the team, • morning catch-up with your service Team to plan workload, • perform and report planned activities like: checks and reports, prepare data requested from business partners • work in Excel, e.g., extracting a report from the system and prepare expected output, • FIKA, a coffee break (virtual or on the office patio), • support in preparing necessary documentation, manuals or templates for optimization or improvement • processing activities in programs and support in investigations of issues and following the progress in solving them • weekly meetings with the Team Leader and the Compensation & Benefits Cross Country Team, • meeting with other team member about e.g., passing on another portion of knowledge in the field of a given process, • lunch (if in the office, together with the team or in the canteen), • self-learning, e.g., e-learning on a training platform on cultural differences or Excel, • reviewing company news, e.g., checking who won the competition for the best photo promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Together as a team
In the Compensation and Benefits Cross Country Team, together with other Junior Specialists, Specialists, Senior Specialists and Experts, you will support IKEA business partners in global services delivery, primarily in administration, calculations and coordination of processes to ensure best quality experience for IKEA co-workers. In this position you will process co-workers' data related to the compensation and benefits area for Ingka c-workers. Initially, you will focus on the Annual Salary Review (ASR) area and support other global services in the future. In ASR, in cooperation with other team members, you will prepare data and settings per country, perform sanity checks, and proceed with system steps according to timelines. We aim to ensure correctness of data, eligible rules and proper salary data upload and communications. You will be supported in your daily work by a Team Leader, whom you can consult in demanding situations. You can also count on your Buddy who will help you get to know IKEA’s culture and values and successfully get through the onboarding process.
