    To be successful in this role, you will have:
    • A university degree and around 10+ years of experience in Human Resources or People & Culture.
    • At least 5 years of experience leading and developing HR/P&C teams.
    • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, labour relations, policies, and compliance requirements.
    • The ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels through strong communication and coaching skills.
    • A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to getting things done.
    • A passion for leadership development, talent growth, diversity, inclusion, and creating positive co-worker experiences.
    • Experience leading change and supporting business growth in a dynamic environment.

    Your responsibilities

    As a key member of the unit leadership team, you will help create the conditions for people and business to grow together.
    You will:
    • Partner with the Unit Manager and leadership team on all People & Culture topics.
    • Lead, coach, and develop the Unit People & Culture team to ensure a great co-worker experience.
    • Bring the IKEA People strategy to life by implementing global principles and local priorities that support business goals.
    • Support leaders in building strong teams and developing leadership capabilities that meet current and future business needs.
    • Drive competence development by working with managers to identify opportunities for learning, growth, and performance improvement.
    • Secure the delivery of learning and development initiatives that help co-workers succeed and grow.
    • Strengthen local employer branding and communication while ensuring a consistent and authentic IKEA voice.
    • Support succession planning and talent development, helping leaders identify and grow future talent and high performers.
    • Be a role model for IKEA values and culture, helping create an inclusive, respectful, and people-focused workplace.
    • Lead co-worker relations activities and ensure compliance with local legislation, policies, and labour relations principles.
    • Partner with business leaders to support effective workforce planning and resource allocation that balances business needs with co-worker wellbeing.
