  • Who you are

    • You have experience from Safety, Security and/or Compliance area and knowledge of national/local legal demands connected to risk management, health, safety and security, Risk Management and Safety & Security processes, tools and working methods according to work focus
    • Understanding of Ingka Group Risk & Compliance Framework and of the IKEA business and culture, customer needs to help the business to improve constantly
    • You have a good knowledge of the IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
    • You understand local/national laws and regulation
    • You’re self-reliant with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
    • You can prioritise and organise own work in line with job responsibilities and agreed priorities
    • You can strike a balance between keeping a good overview and paying good attention to detail
    • You can communicate confidently and clearly with various audiences both verbally and in writing
    • You know how to train and educate large groups
    • You have good analytical and numerical skills
    • You have retail and/or home furnishing experience
    • You have a strong sense of urgency and high availability
    • You’re a strong promoter of IKEA culture and values
    • You have a passion for people, the IKEA business, and IKEA culture and values
    • You have a passion for establishing a Risk & Compliance aware culture in the unit
    • You have a passion for achieving results through the organization

    Your responsibilities

    • Promote risk management in the unit, informing and sharing expertise in order to develop riskaware decision taking in relation to unit goals and unit business plan
    • Support with expertise on Ingka Rules and Local (country and regional) legislation to secure a safe
    environment for customers and co-workers
    • Provide expertise on and plan for the proper trainings needed and facilitate for co-workers and
    external partners to meet IKEAs/Ingka's risk appetite
    • Support a Risk & Compliance culture by developing leadership and conscious approach in
    identifying and implementing systems to detect, analyse and reduce business loss, financial impact,
    prevent incidents and accidents
    • Ensure the reporting of relevant figures for eg co-workers, customer and visitors incidents to
    establish progress and areas for improvement
    • Showcase personal integrity, rationality and impartiality with endurance in high pressured emergency situation
    • Plan effectively, to influence others and follow up on changes implemented
    • Independently and reliably work on agreed actions and to take own
    decisions within area of responsibility
    • Showcase social skills and high accessibility

    The starting rate/salary for this position is $ 49,120
