IKEA Edinburgh are excited to invite enthusiastic and friendly people to join our amazing Customer Relations team. This is a varied role working 18-hours a week, where you get to provide an outstanding experience for our many customers.

WHAT WE OFFER

• £12.60 an hour (Living Wage Foundation Employer).
• The role will be for 18 hours a week, and will require availability to work 3 in 4 weekends, as well as at least two full days during the week (Monday to Friday). This contract will allow for one in four weekends off.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

We are looking for co-workers who strive to give an amazing customer shopping experience; co-workers that always put the customer at the heart of everything they do and inspire others to do the same.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a customer-facing environment. You will be passionate about learning, and enthusiastic about offering a superb customer experience for our customers. Ideally, you will have experience with conflict resolution also.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

This role is varied with no two days being the same; one minute you could be on check-outs, and the next minute, you could be working in After Sales/Customer Relations resolving customer queries.
• You aim to create a positive experience for our customers so that they will want to return and shop with us again over time.
• You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
• Meeting and greeting our customers, assisting customers at the check-outs and After Sales desk.
• Build loyalty by listening to our customers and using your knowledge of the IKEA product range to offer informed solutions.
