    Additional Information:
    • Position type: Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight
    • Internal job title: B2B Generalist
    • Work model: Hybrid – 3 days on-site from IKEA Perth, 2 days from home, once established in the role.
    • Working hours: availability required between 9:00am – 5:00pm (AWST) weekdays and alternating weekends.
    • Work from home requirements: A stable and fast internet connection is essential.


    RECRUITMENT PROCESS

    About this work area

    As a B2B Sales Representative your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with local businesses, providing high-quality support across all remote channels – including live video – to ensure a seamless IKEA Business customer experience.
    •Use active remote selling techniques to drive growth, including proposing add-on products, cross-selling and upselling to secure long-term profitability.
    • Offer complete furnishing solutions, demonstrating a commercial approach in every customer contact, in order to maximise sales.
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure all parts of a business customer orders are fulfilled, updating customers on status and potential issues to see projects through to completion.
    • Proactively stay informed about products and services to align with commercial priorities and maintain the ability to steer sales.



    As a B2B Sales Representative you are or have:
    • Passionate about home furnishings, motivated by sales growth, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team.
    • Previous inbound sales experience (B2B preferred), or a minimum of 2 years in sales, customer service, or key account management.
    • Confident and engaging phone manner, with excellent listening, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Proven ability to meet team KPIs and achieve sales targets.
    • Proficiency in computer systems and digital tools.
    • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
    • A collaborative mindset, eager to share knowledge and insights within a team setting.
