Note :- International relocation will be provided as per Ingka policy. However this role is on local contract.
Key Qualifications:
• Formal qualifications in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial planning, sales, or similar roles with a proven track record of delivering results.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in leading and influencing teams.
• Experience in retail, preferably in the home furnishing sector.
• Strong background in planning, driving output, and measuring business performance.
• Extensive knowledge of sales techniques, market trends, and consumer behavior.
• Broad knowledge of IKEA’s concept, brand objectives, values, and vision.
• Ability to take a holistic view of a global organization and identify business opportunities accordingly.
Your responsibilities
As an HFB Leader, the Home Furnishing Business Area (HFB), responsible for defining and driving the sales strategy to maximize growth and profitability. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Business Growth & Sales Strategy
o Develop and implement commercial offers, sales techniques, and activities across all channels.
o Steer range, dimensioning, and price ladder to align with customer needs and demands.
o Set local pricing strategies and propose commercial activities.
o Drive sustainability initiatives within selling through product offerings and solutions.
• Sales Planning & Performance Management
o Lead sales planning and forecasting for HFBs.
o Steer sales and gross margin across channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
o React proactively to sales deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Customer & Market Focus
o Develop local commercial solutions that meet customer needs and enhance their experience.
o Implement solutions from Home Furnishing & Retail Design (HFRD) and Market Support.
o Engage with key stakeholders across IKEA to integrate a multichannel approach.
o Provide market feedback to Range & Supply to optimize the product offering.
• Leadership & Collaboration
o Coach and develop store co-workers to enhance selling competence.
o Collaborate across departments including Customer, Digital, Communications, and People & Culture to maximize business impact.
o Foster an open and sharing climate, embodying IKEA values.
