Your responsibilities
In this role, you will contribute to driving sustainable profitability through optimal and local sourcing initiatives. You will: • Implement strategic sourcing plans combining optimally sourced and locally sourced range • Work closely with Purchasing (PLASA) to identify local sourcing opportunities in India • Improve supply matrix structure to achieve better On-Time Delivery (OTD) • Conduct market analysis to identify gaps and introduce relevant productsDrive sourcing projects for prioritized product families in collaboration with purchasing and commercial teams • Support sales prioritization, forecasting, pricing, and margin mix development • Secure short- and medium-term objectives through successful launch of optimally sourced ranges • Develop long-term sourcing opportunities with optimal cost structure • Collaborate with suppliers to identify off-the-shelf articles for faster launches • Identify opportunities to localize imported articles at better landed cost • Follow up on KPIs and drive continuous performance improvements • Contribute to an open and collaborative working environment and be a role model for IKEA valuesand committed to delivering sustainable business growth.
