As the leader of a GBO People Services team, you're responsible to lead one of the GBO People Services teams (People Operations Support), which is responsible for manage and support the HR/Payroll process and systems as per defined and agreed scope, execute delivery of services on high professional standard and strive to meet or exceed agreed service levels. • lead the P&C Operations Support activities and deliverables to enable the operations to focus on an end user support and delivering efficient services • manage delivery of the global business support activities in close collaboration with Digital People Domain and People Services team, • steer team performance and deliverables in line with the GBO People Services goals, • work with GBO Operational SMEs and CI Function on the Continuous Improvement agenda (process and tools improvement) to drive the service efficiency • support solving problems and independently resolve first level escalations • follow-up on the status of outstanding issues • recruit competent new co-workers that will fit to the team • take an active role in coaching and developing P&C staff knowledge, skills and competence • be responsible for coordination of trainings, keeping high level of motivation and other activities related with team leading • be a part of a work environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality • active participation & coordination in relevant project deliverables • foster strong relationships with partners. • allocate team resources effectively. • recruit, coach, and develop team members. • motivate the team to deliver outstanding service.
This role is situated within Bangalore and will report directly to the GBO People Operations Support Manager.
