    Job description

    As Project Controller, you will be responsible to lead project planning, tracking, following up and the product development process to ensure team delivers the project goals according to plan, you will be the important role of the product development team, your common goal is to develop the products with speed, low cost, quality, IKEA identity.

    • Project planning, tracking of compliance to time plans, working methods and business rules.
    • Lead fact-based decision making with scenarios and recommendations in the product development projects.
    • Responsible for capturing and communicating project risks and interdependencies, Reports risks and deviations in connection to the project towards the Range & Project team
    • Responsible for capturing and documenting project lessons learned and secure these learnings in new projects
    • Responsible for range management, product information, range administration and range change execution for news development, in assigned projects
    • Ensure a strong performance culture where project deviations are detected early and acted upon
    • Communicate project results in a clear and inspiring way.
    • Leads and secures that the time plan connected to the process is kept and that all stakeholders are involved in the right time and with the right preconditions
    • Secures that the budget is kept and that all documentation is in place.
    • Leads and secures that the milestones and mandatory actions in relation to the process as well as process improvements

    Qualification

    We are looking for the people with:

     

    • Interest of people’s life at home and energy, drive and commitment to deliver better products
    • Experience in project management (planning, execution, risk management)
    • Ability to facilitate effective meetings and reaching decisions, ability to put potentials and risks in projects on table, lead team acting on deviations and seek improvements
    • Humble and willpower, result oriented with passion to lead things happen through people. Hands on with big project ambition and plan in mind. Detail oriented and excellent in both tactical and operation.
    • Logical thinking and structured way of working, ability to simplifying complex issues, sharp in the communication.
    • Openness, authenticity with clear self-awareness, ability to build strong relation and collaboration with development team and stakeholders.
    • Proactive attitude, having the courage to question and challenge across topics, always find the better way and improve the effectiveness.
    • Knowledge in business navigation is a plus
