  • Who you are

We are pleased to announce the launch of our third physical Customer Meeting Point (CMP) in Bangalore — a Small Store L located in South Bangalore, one of the high-potential clusters of the city.
Following the delivery of our Standard Store in 2022 and Planning and Order Point (PaOP) in 2025, this new store marks an important milestone in our journey to strengthen market presence, while continuing to provide an omnichannel, customer-centric experience aligned with our long-term vision for the region. Small stores are designed to offer a complete IKEA experience in a more compact format to make us even more accessible to our customers in our markets.

    • You are business-minded and results-driven, with a strong focus on customers.
    • You are passionate about home furnishing and have an interest in people’s everyday life at home.
    • You have experience working in a commercial and customer-oriented environment, ideally in retail.
    • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and you’re open to change.
    • You believe that leadership is about developing people and achieving goals together.
    • You have the ability to make quick decisions, take personal initiative, and organize your work efficiently.
    • You communicate confidently in English and can engage others with your enthusiasm and clarity.
    • The IKEA values reflect your own — you care for people, lead by example, and are always looking for a better way.

    Your responsibilities

    • Lead, inspire and develop your team to optimize the IKEA shopping experience in your area, ensuring satisfied customers and increased sales.
    • Ensure your shop is fully stocked, merchandised, and always in excellent shape — inspiring customers through strong range presentation.
    • Actively steer sales to top-selling and prioritized products to maximize sales and profitability.
    • Analyze performance and take action to deliver on department goals and commercial priorities.
    • Ensure your team has the right product knowledge and can share it effectively to improve the customer experience.
    • Work closely with other functions and use IKEA tools to achieve a coordinated commercial approach.
    • Develop your team members through coaching, feedback, and succession planning.
    • Keep an active eye on the local market and competitors, and take action when needed.
    • Promote and act on IKEA’s social and environmental commitments, helping your team understand how they contribute to sustainability.
    • Deliver results by leading through people – combining business sense with empathy, trust, and teamwork.

    Together as a team

Where others see home furnishing products, we see smart solutions to create a better everyday life. With a great deal of passion, imagination and brainstorming we turn colours, textiles and furniture into inspiring environments that excite, engage and convince IKEA visitors that they can do it too!

We are an equal opportunity employer:

At IKEA, we value diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. We are committed to providing coworkers with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment. We encourage individualism and invite you to come join our team and be yourself with us!
