  • We are looking for a hands-on System Engineer to help configure, run and develop our Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) built on Planon. You will work closely with the senior engineer, Gr. Real Estate Solution Architect ,Enterprise Technology /DATA aarchites and business stakeholders to deliver improvements and keep the platform running smoothly.

You will work across real estate and facility processes, integrations, and the connection of building systems (BMS) and IoT data to the IWMS — ideally with an understanding of retail environments.

As a Systems Engineer in the Group Real Estate, you will be at the heart of a foundational transformation in IWMS.

    This means that you will:
    • Configuration and administration: Configure and maintain the Planon platform (Planon ProCenter / Planon Cloud), including modules, business objects, field definitions, layouts, workflows (BOM/state models), user roles and authorization.
    • Real estate & facility processes: Implement and support IWMS processes such as space and occupancy management, lease and contract management, maintenance (corrective and planned), work orders, assets, service requests and move management.
    • Integrations: Build and support integrations between Planon and surrounding systems (ERP/finance, HR, CAD/BIM, identity, ticketing) using Planon Connect, web services/REST APIs, SFTP and middleware.
    • BMS & IoT: Support the connection of building management systems and IoT sensors (occupancy, energy, environmental, alarms) to the IWMS so that events and data automatically create work orders, update assets and feed reporting.
    • Reporting & data: Build reports, dashboards and data extracts on space utilization, maintenance KPIs, SLA performance, lease costs and energy consumption.
    • Operations & support: Act as 2nd/3rd line support, investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and manage releases, upgrades and patches across environments (DEV/TEST/PROD).
    • Documentation & quality: Maintain technical documentation, configuration records and test cases; follow change management and release procedures.
    • Delivery: Deliver configuration changes, enhancements and integration work as part of the team backlog, from analysis through testing and deployment.
    • Testing: Prepare and run functional, integration and regression tests; support user acceptance testing with the business.
    • User support: Support end users and key users, run training sessions and help onboard new sites and stores into the system.

    We believe you bring:
    • 4–7 years as System Engineer, with hands-on IWMS / Planon experience
    • Planon experience: Hands-on experience with Planon (configuration, administration and/or integrations).
    • IWMS / FM knowledge: Good understanding of real estate and facility management processes.
    • BMS & IoT: Basic to good knowledge of building management systems and IoT sensors in buildings.
    • Integration skills: Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP), data formats (JSON/XML) and file-based interfaces.
    • Data skills: Working SQL knowledge and experience building reports.
    • Experience working on projects and in operational support (incident, problem and change management).
    This is our wish list!

The must-haves we see for this role are:
    • IWMS Platform - Advanced level: Planon ProCenter, Planon Cloud, Planon Connect, Planon Self-Service, business object and workflow configuration
