IKEA Milton Keynes are looking to welcome a furniture builder to the team.

Your role is to assemble furniture for the showrooms ensuring that all items are correctly put together and displayed attractively.


WHAT WE OFFER

• The Start Date of employment will be: 30th of March
• Competitive hourly rate of £13.25 per hour.
• 30 Hours working 5 x 6hr shifts starting at 7am this includes weekends. You will receive every 4th weekend off.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Experience in assembling furniture, with basic DIY knowledge.
• Self-motivated and able to organise own workload in a busy environment with a strong attention to detail.
• Passion for home furnishing and peoples life at home.



WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Building furniture to a high standard to ensure our store displays provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
• Take responsibility to ensure furniture is built correctly and secured in line with health & safety/manual handling practices to ensure a safe shopping and working environment for our visitors and co-worker.
• Assisting Customers when there are questions related to the building of IKEA products .
• Collaborate with the sales team to support and implement range changes throughout the year.
