IKEA Milton Keynes are looking to welcome a Warehouse Sales Operative to join our hardworking Fulfilment team.
This role combines customer interaction with hands‑on warehouse work in a fast‑paced, physically active environment.
WHAT WE OFFER
• The Start Date of employment will be: June 2026 • Competitive hourly rate of £14.15 per hour. • 30 and 24 hour contracts working 5 days over 7 this includes both weekend days, you will receive every 4th weekend off. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Previous warehouse and sales experience are preferred but not essential, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work both individually and together as part of our team in collaboration with various departments. • Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail. • You are computer literate and able to work with technology. • Due to health and safety reasons you will be required to be over the age of 18years old.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Your priority is the customer experience, focusing on enhancing sales and ensuring stock availability while maintaining an organised, tidy shopping environment and preparing for the next day's delivery. • Manual handling and heavy lifting of various stock. Using pump trucks and trolleys to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse. • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers. • This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to safely perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
