• Lead the end-to-end daily running fulfilment unit operations, coach and development your leaders • Responsible for securing efficiency, implementing improvements, new operational processes, technologies and ways of working throughout the operations (inbound, replenishment, outbound, services execution) to enable an excellent customer and colleague experience • Secure all is performed with high quality at lowest possible costs with the customer in focus and always with an everyday safe, sustainable, and healthy work environment in mind • Responsible to secure a close cooperation and strong communication with supply chain management, unit management team or support functions and external transport/service providers to secure the highest goods availability and customer order fulfilment at the lowest possible cost • Responsible for the implementation of the customer fulfilment sustainability agenda in the assigned unit operations environment • Accountable to ensure that the fulfilment operations team works in compliance with the IKEA code of conduct, all functional relevant standard operating procedures, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment
What you'll need to have
• Good knowledge of customer fulfilment performance monitoring and influencing factors • Good knowledge of working methods securing excellence in fulfilment operation processes together with relevant stakeholders • Good knowledge of supply chain methods, policies and requirements toward the IKEA unit and its business partners • Good knowledge of all relevant standard operating procedures for customer fulfilment to keep all colleagues and customers safe • Good knowledge of resource planning in accordance with potential sales scenarios, forecast and fulfilment flows allocation • Ability to reflect and find value and ideas in collaborating with others and ability to inspire and engage others while being business-minded and having a clear customer focus • Capability to lead in the unknown and transforming environment and to collaborate with different stakeholders • Capability to give and take responsibility and empower colleagues to be entrepreneurial • Ability to manage a high-volume and vibrant retail business in a fast-changing omnichannel environment and to make things happen with flexibility, speed, and simplicity • Ability to communicate in English and Italian
