  • What you'll need to have

    • An experience in People & Culture/HR area is a plus
    • Ideally experience in trade union management, people planning, HR administration
    • Motivated to work in a new and innovative context, characterized by a logic of "City”
    • Being passionate about people and having a strong belief in individuals’ potential
    • Positive attitude and open-minded approach
    • Leading business through people
    • Applying strategical, tactical and operational thinking
    • Passion to create a people-oriented working environment

    • Fluent level of English and Italian languages

    What you'll be doing day to day

    •Support the unit managers and all People managers in the store as direct speaking to implement tactics related to People agenda topics
    •Be part of a City People & Culture Team driving topics coming from People agenda for all the Customer meeting point of IKEA Roma ecosystem
    •Support the co-workers to be able to deliver their result and create an excellent customer experience. Provide people subject matter expertise, process people operations matters and ensure that the localised people strategies are put into practice in the most effective and efficient way. Contribute to a constructive cooperation with workers council/unions where applicable
    • Execute all operational People tasks at unit level to deliver an excellent co-worker experience
    • Support the building of local business competence & performance working on relevant People goals
    • Ensure recruitment and on-boarding of the right talents with the right contracts in close collaboration with the Market area and Recruitment Delivery Team SO and unit People Planning specialist
    • Ensure and execute delivery of learning & training at unit level, unless provided by the Market Area
    • Securing engagement and retention by understanding the conditions of our co-workers
    • Implement Health and Wellbeing initiatives at unit level
    • Support staff costs
    • Ensure local employer communication is consistent, well perceived and builds on the IKEA brand
    • Implement a co-worker relations plan that effectively manages all local interactions with co-workers and unions, and ensures that all areas in the unit work with the labour relations principles and uphold local policies, procedures and laws
