    We at IKEA Services Ltd. (Vietnam) are looking forward to welcoming a new People & Culture (P&C) Generalist to our P&C team in HCMC.  

    As P&C Generalist, your main tasks will be: 

    • Actively work with area of expertise such as Recruitment, Labour Law, Work Environment etc.  with an extra responsibility within the area of Compensation & Benefits. 

    • Continuously assess, implement and use update standards, guidelines and policies within Compensation & Benefits area, with the ambition to be as aligned as possible, however always in compliance with country specific laws and regulations 

    • Be the “go-to-person” and partner for managers, co-workers and P&C colleagues in the identified business and legal entity for P&C related topics. 

    • Lead execution of P&C year cycle operational tasks. 

    • Contribute to building business competence and leadership development by supporting managers and co-workers according to agreed development plans  

    • Support managers with labour law guidance, performance improvement plans and difficult cases  

    • Contribute to the implementation and execution of the People strategy in the local unit/area  

    • Contribute to developing ways of working on the People & Culture Generalist arena  

    • Responsible for execution of administration connected to People & HR digital tools

You demonstrate general leadership ability and effectiveness with the capacity to handle multiple priorities, initiatives, interfaces, and tasks. You express ideas and opinions effectively - with ability to influence and inspire. You have a good knowledge of Vietnamese employment law, and you are fluent in English. 

    To be successful in this role you need to have/be: 

    • Previous experience in P&C, specifically within compensation and benefits 

    • Good knowledge in local employment legislations and co-worker relation 

    • Good knowledge in P&C operational processes, topics and tools 

    • Ability to use HR Information Systems (HRIS) and other related software for data analysis. 

    • Ability to build trust and relationships through good communication 

    • Ability to support and enable change 

    • Ability to be structured and organized with attention to details and patience in handling P&C administration
