    • IKEA Belfast are looking to welcome some new Store Assistants to join our fantastic team.

    Are you ready to be the dynamic link between our Sales and Checkouts departments? You'll split your time between our vibrant sales departments and our bustling checkouts area. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with customers, enhance their shopping experience, and contribute to our store's success. If you're adaptable, energetic, and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you!

    WHAT WE OFFER

    • Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
    • 12-20 hour contracts available including evening and weekend working.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

    • You have a positive approach, love multi-tasking, and are enthusiastic about being part of the team and can work without supervision.
    • You have a customer first mindset and love the versatility of working in a different area each day, making the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
    • You are computer literate and able to work with technology.
    • You prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail.


    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

    • You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers working across various departments throughout the day, supporting customers to find the best solutions for their life at home.
    • You are excited about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design, keen to share this with our customers.
    • You support maximising sales by ensuring your areas of responsibility are clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well-presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
    • You have the knowledge, and desire to make customer payment easy. Using the till to accurately register products and register payment from customers according to given routines.
