    • You’ve worked in Marketing Communications for at least 10 years, with 5+ years of leadership experience, ideally in a multichannel retail environment.
    • You have solid experience in planning, driving output, and measuring performance – both business and people – and using that knowledge to move things forward.
    • You know how to translate insights into impactful campaigns and measure what works – and what can work even better next time.
    • You bring experience from the retail world and are energized by working in a fast-paced, always-evolving environment where no two days look the same.
    • You’re fluent in English – both spoken and written – and know how to express yourself in a clear and engaging way.

    About the job:

    You’ll lead our Marketing Communications Team – the storytellers and content creators behind how people experience the IKEA brand in South East Europe. Together, you'll shape and deliver our marketing communications strategy and bring our business plans to life in a way that’s consistent, relevant, and uniquely IKEA.


    About the assignments:

    • Lead and inspire the Marketing Communications Team – bringing out the best in people while developing their talents.
    • Create and execute a holistic marketing communications strategy across all our channels and markets.
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure strong, integrated campaigns with one clear IKEA voice.
    • Be the go-to for content planning and briefing with our content hub, and manage agency relationships to make sure every project delivers value.
    • Monitor campaign performance, gather insights, and translate them into actions for constant improvement.
    • Work closely with the Country Marketing Manager and other leaders to deliver to shared business goals.
    • Stay connected to what matters to the many people at home – and bring those insights into how we communicate our offer.
    • Promote a culture of creativity, openness, and collaboration – always grounded in our IKEA values.

    We offer a full-time (40h per week) permanent position. In this role, you will report to the South East Europe Marketing Manager.

    Our Service Office is based in Belgrade, but since we’re a decentralized team in IKEA South East Europe, you don’t need to pack your bags. If you live in Slovenia, Croatia or Romania, you can work from your home country and still be fully part of the team.
