    Introduction to research/thesis:

    Are you passionate about digital transformation and eager to make a real impact in the retail industry?

    IKEA Retail Sweden/Digital is now looking for innovative and driven student(s) to join our team and help us solve the challenges of digitalization and the adoption of digital tools.

    You will have the opportunity to get to know our business owners, customer, and co-worker teams to develop and implement digital solutions that align with IKEA's values and goals.

    Who you are / requirements:

    - Currently enrolled in a master's program (or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., Business, IT, Digital Marketing).
    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    - Passion for digital leadership, innovation and retail.

    About this work area

    The assignment/Job description:

    - Research on adoption and usage of our top digital tools.
    - Identifying pain points & opportunities for improvement and proposing innovative solutions.
    - Analyzing current digital tools and processes within IKEA's retail operations.
    - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of digital tools.
    - Supporting the implementation and adoption of new technologies to enhance business efficiency, customer experience, and co-worker satisfaction.

    We offer an opportunity for internship/research (according agreement and school internship schedule) during fall/winter semester 2025 or during spring 2026, connecting with our team at Service Office, Helsingborg (Väla/Ödåkra). You will be provided with the material, necessary tools and direct support from the function. Throughout the research period, you will have ongoing supervision and reconciliations within the function. Your mentor will be Digital Project Leader in Portfolio & Deployment, Vicky Dalezios.
