    • We are looking for a Business Analyst (with a data analysis focus) to join our team in Haarlem, the Netherlands. In this role, you will ensure access to high-quality information across the organization by transforming data into meaningful insights.

    What you'll be doing day to day

    You’ll work cross-functionally on a variety of topics to support decision-making through data analysis. This role combines business acumen with technical proficiency to enhance performance, efficiency, and growth. You will work on:

    - Ensuring high-quality information is accessible across the organization by transforming raw data into actionable insights

    - Analyzing business data (both financial and operational) to support strategic and operational decision-making

    - Automating reporting processes and developing dashboards using tools like Power BI

    - Supporting country and store teams in identifying improvement opportunities through exploratory data analysis

    - Applying scenario thinking to assess the impact of business changes and provide forward-looking insights

    - Upholding and promoting standards for data quality, governance, and reporting

    You will be part of Business Navigation team together with 3 other Business Analysts and will report to Business Navigation Team Leader. Together, we provide essential insights to help steer 15 units in The Netherlands towards sustainable, profitable growth. As a member of IKEA’s Business Navigation team, you’ll work at IKEA Netherlands Service Office in Haarlem.

    What we’re looking for:

    - 1–3 years of experience in business or data analysis, with a strong focus on delivering actionable insights

    - Proven ability to work with large datasets; hands-on experience with SQL is essential

    - Skilled in developing user-centric dashboards, with a solid grasp of dashboard design principles

    - Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel for data visualization and reporting

    - Sound understanding of data governance and best practices for maintaining high data quality

    - Ability to communicate complex data in a clear and engaging way

    - Fluent in English, both written and spoken

    - Knowledge of IKEA’s business landscape, brand identity, and cultural values is a plus

    • ben je 28 uur per week beschikbaar (verdeeld over 5 dagen) en flexibel inzetbaar; overdag, in de avonden en in het weekend.
    • je beheerst de Nederlandse taal, zowel in woord als geschrift
