As a Data & Machine Learning Domain manager, you will play a pivotal role in our journey to create a unique omnichannel retailer, seamlessly blending the physical and digital world and building an IKEA for the digital world. In Group Digital, we set the digital agenda to keep IKEA as a leading home furnishing retailer in an uncertain and fast-moving environment. We drive the development, provision, and operation of our digital products and services using new and existing technology and agile delivery methods to deliver at pace.     As a Domain Manager in our Data and Analytics organization you are responsible for leading leaders and teams to develop and implement strategic data assets, data-driven insights and decision-making solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness at the core of our operations within the Business support area. As part of the area Business Support, you are a natural member in the cross-functional leadership team between Business Support areas (e.g. Business Steering, Finance, Procurement, Business Risk and Compliance, etc) and digital.

As a Domain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring people toward a growth mindset. Your motivation will drive strategic thinking, turning data and analytics trends into practical solutions and innovative ideas. In our fast-paced environment, you’ll thrive and confidently navigate the unknown. As a member of the Group Data & Machine Learning Management team, you will help to integrate technical strategies seamlessly with our larger business objectives. Ensure that the right data, techniques and processes are implemented to make informed data-driven decisions.

    You have excellent knowledge within:
    - Stakeholder management over complex networks with focus on changing mindset of leaders in relation to data-driven digital products and decision-making
    - Application of advanced analytics, ML/AI solutions and insights product building (e.g. dashboards) to solve business problems and enable our coworkers to take better decisions at scale
    - Analytical programming languages, modern platforms and systems for handling small and very large datasets
    - Quality data product building, including building data models and common issues related to data quality and how to improve them

    Data-driven digital product development, including data processing, analysis, and knowledge extraction with improvement and deployment at scale

    Nice to have: knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and usual metrics.

    What you'll need to have
    Key responsibilities:
    - Strong understanding of opportunities and limitations of modern data and analytics technologies.
    - Minimum 5 years of experience of leading company transformation and change management.
    - Experience of a leadership role in a Finance / Business performance environment with deep knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of operations and development
    - Advanced education within engineering, computer science, econometrics, mathematics or equivalent
    - Leadership that is both inclusive and empowering, focused on nurturing talent and instilling a culture of continuous learning and development and experience with people management.
    - Proven ability to build trustful relationships and communicate inspirationally with audiences of all sizes and seniority levels, ensuring clarity and impact.
    - Capability to frame business challenges, design effective solutions, calculate risks, deliver results, and follow up.
