    As a member of the Data Engineering team within Inter IKEA Group Range (including Range Experience and Range Engineering), you will help develop and deploy IKEA Planning Experience’s digital products, driving consistent ways of working. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across the Inter IKEA group and external partners.     Job description

    As a data engineer, your will

    • Transform raw data into analyzable formats using ETL/ELT processes to deliver tangible business benefits.
    • Develop and maintain scalable data infrastructures for sourcing, processing, and sharing data.
    • Optimize, test, and implement tools to enhance data quality and monitor data drift and decay.
    • Manage data integration, processing workflows, and data modeling efforts.
    • Provide APIs for standardized data access and sharing across teams.
    • Translate complex business data requirements into robust technical solutions and architectures.
    • Ensure compliance with security, legal, and delivery standards.
    • Support and coach teams to foster a data-driven development culture.
    • Document and share knowledge about data infrastructure and best practices within IKEA.
    • Apply CI/CD best practices and maintain cost-efficient data solutions.

    Qualification

    To be successful in this role, we expect that

    • You have extensive experience designing data pipelines, data warehousing, data modeling, and database architecture.
    • You possess strong expertise in Python, SQL, and other scripting or general-purpose data handling languages.
    • You have solid knowledge of industry-standard software development languages and a deep understanding of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
    • You are a proactive team player who takes ownership, builds cross-functional relationships with senior peers, and enjoys mentoring junior colleagues.
    • You are a curious, world-class problem solver passionate about continuous learning and innovation.
