We are recruiting a Direct Tax Advisor for our Group Finance Development and Operations team!
As the Direct Tax Advisor, not only will you have proven knowledge of Tax, but you will also enjoy working in an ever-changing environment and love finding new ways through co-creation! As well as the above capabilities, you will have the following experience:
University degree in Tax/ Tax Laws/ Tax Economics or equivalent
5+ years of experience in Direct Tax working experience at an international advisory firm or international company
Experience with Direct Tax related functionalities in SAP is a plus
Fluent in English

This is a permanent position based in Amsterdam or Malmo.
What you'll be doing day to day
The purpose of the Direct Tax function is to support, guide and monitor the Ingka Group organisation in a pro-active way on the management of Direct Taxes (CIT, WHT, etc.). You will be working in an international, dynamic environment, constantly in change and development, at a high pace.
Your main assignments will be to:
• Collect direct tax requirements, support relevant processes with translating the requirements into the relevant systems and secure that output from relevant systems reflects those requirement • Be an active contributor in our Business Operations Transformation programme (i.e. implementation of SAP components in our system landscape), the working processes and the system landscape, with the goal to reach maximum compliance and efficiency while enabling the business. • Monitor the interpretation and implementation of Direct Tax requirements in projects and processes related to Ingka Group stores, e-Commerce web platform, distributions centres and shopping centres. • Monitor and support country organizations in operational tax activities. • Support in securing the implementation and adherence to Ingka Group Tax Principles and Rules. • Support in the design and implementation of relevant parts of the Tax Control Framework.
