  • Do you enjoy being a hands-on leader? Can you stay calm, structured, and decisive when the pace is high? Then this role could be your next step. As a Team Leader in Fulfilment Operations at IKEA Malmö, you get to develop people while making sure operations run smoothly every single day.

    About the Role

    In Fulfilment in Malmö, we are 80+ co-workers, connecting supply to customer demand. You will be part of a group of 9 Team Leaders, where each one leads, coaches, and develops a team of approximately 15 co-workers. You and your team secure the inflow and outflow of goods, making sure our products are available, accessible, and ready for our customers when they need them.

    As a Team Leader, you will:

    - Be hands-on in daily operations, ensuring efficient goods flow
    - Translate daily goals into clear priorities and actions
    - Secure high product availability and operational readiness at low cost
    - Follow up on performance, safety, and ways of working
    - Drive a safe, structured, and positive work environment

    You lead by example on the floor, close to your team and always with the customer in mind. You’re inspired by IKEA’s vision – to create a better life for the many people – and live by our values.

    Who You Are

    We believe you are a hands-on leader with experience from and interest in physical work environments, used to taking responsibility and guiding others in day-to-day operations. You have a structured mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure and make decisions in fast-changing situations. Also, your English skills are sufficient for day-to-day work but no need to be fluent, we value clear communication over perfection. You are people-focused, building trust while setting clear expectations. You bring energy, structure, and positivity, even in early morning shifts.

    It’s a plus if your leader experience is from a similar work environment like logistics, warehousing, or fulfilment operations. Also, if you’re experienced in scheduling or workforce planning systems and have a forklift license.


    A Day in Your Life

    You start early, set the direction for the day and ensure your team knows what success looks like. You balance being operationally involved with coaching your team, solving challenges, and securing smooth goods flow. No two days are the same, but your focus is: safe operations, strong teamwork, and great product availability for our customers.

    This is a full-time permanent position (38.25 hours/week) with working hours between 05:00–23:00 (day and evening shifts). The salary is based on Handels collective agreement with a Team Leader allowance on top.
